Well, I'm trying to figure out how poser works!
But everytime I've unpacked a new file in to poser, it isn't working, I can't find it anywhere!
I mean, where do I have to put the hair? Or new clothes?

Wasn't it you who put the file heirarchy pictures in your tutorial section??? EJule, check there first, and go into your poser directory and make sure the folders didn't replicate themselves and move them accordingly, (sometimes I've had them make another metacreations/library/runtime etc. folder tree inside the existing ones) The turorial section is a good place for beginners so check it out, heck even those of us have been here a while see something new in there occasionally!
