i recently downloaded like 20 different fonts from a website...how do i usew them in photoshop?...they're not specifically for ps...but i imagine that it is possible to use them....

just load the fonts into your FONTS folder/directory in your system and the next time you launch PS they should load. If you watch the splash screen as Photoshop loads you'll see it initializing a bunch of stuff and load up fonts that are installed on your system. PS If you have Photoshop open when you install the fonts they won't appear until you restart Photoshop. :) retrocity

...and don't forget the more fonts you have in the fonts folder the longer PS will take to load... it's an annoying problem if you're running on an old sloth like mine :)

Ain't that right!! One thing i do is to set up font style folders that have fonts that i don't often use but need anyhow. They are fonts like "Display" "Runic" "Handwritten" or "Grunge"... This way i load and unload whenever i need them without bogging down PS. :) retrocity

the more fonts you have, the slower your computer will run, period. Use a program such as Adobe's ATM, and only enable the fonts when you need them, disable them when you're done, otherwiise expedct your computer like crud.
