I recently saw an image of Jill Valentine done and posted on the poser forum by psychofish, I remembered that I tried my hand at her myself a couple of months back, I went back to that image, it was crude and I didn't like it much so I started over, and my result is the test render above, this is just a preview f course. I need to add the shoulder pads (that will be kindly donated to me by Little_Dragon), some textures to her combat trouser and beret (Airborne!!!), and change the color or her hair to a nice Auburn color.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

I'd love to get that gunbelt she has on :-) Is it (hopefully) free? somewhere? As she is now it looks like she's a member of the Air Police with the blue beret and blue pants :-)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

Unfortunately the belt is not free, the belt is part of Daz3D's Michael police Accesories pack, the ammo pouch is from chome cafe's G.I vicky pack. I just puthem together for that kickass look. As far as her looking like a member of the air police, that is the way her uniform looks in the Resident Evil Game(exept for the shoulder pads).

Looks impressive so far. I should have the shoulder pads and harness finished and posted in Free Stuff on Monday.

I'm working on a Resident Evil render, myself, although the part of Jill will be played by Florence Ambrose, a character from an online comic strip that I enjoy. I'm making a series of fan-art images as part of a virtual fashion shoot, and the theme for this week is video games. I've already butchered Tomb Raider and Devil May Cry, so Resident Evil and its zombies are next.

Greg Crowfoot has a couple of free belts at [Greylight](http://www.greylight.com/), but they aren't conforming figures, just 3DS meshes. Still, with a bit of rescaling and magnet work, they look pretty good.

You forgot to remove the bumpmap off that sweater didn't you?

aarrhh...shes a zombie :D

Little_Dragon posted Tue, 30 July 2002 at 5:14 PM

Actually, the character above is a Bowman's Wolf, a genetically-engineered lifeform from Ecosystems Unlimited ... but that's another story.

On the other hand, Jill as a zombie would make for an interesting image.

Greylight seems to be working from my corner of the 'Net, or least it was this morning. The belts are in the Personal Items and Weapons & Armor sections of Greylight's Poser Archives.

I deliberately left the bump map on the Uzilite blouse; I like the effect. I'm not trying to recreate Jill's outfit in perfect detail, anyway, not when it's being worn by an anthro wolfette.
