I'm looking for a tutorial or other help with scaling and placing textures. For an example, the image at the link. 1. The floor in the foreground. This is an elongated cube, that is rotated. I would prefer the texture to be straight across from side to side, rather than diagonal. I know how to do this in Bryce, but can't figure it out in Vue. 2. Brick wall at the rear. This is a default texture in Vue, I think. Anyhow, I was fiddling with the scale in the little texture window, making it larger and smaller. But it seems to lose detail quickly when it's scaled up. Does anyone have a suggestion on dealing with this? Should I take the texture into Photoshop or PSP, and resize it there, then upload it to Vue? Or is there another approach? Thanks much in advance for any help and advice. :o)
