Hi everyone, I am fairly new to poser and have run into a problem, for some reason everytime I try to select the head on the muscular mike figure, and just plain select some other figures, I get an error message that says the following: Caught C exception: exception acess_violation trapped at 17f:4d3031 and then the program will crash. I have contacted the supposed experts at microsoft, and metacreations who have no idea what it means, so I decided I probably should come and ask the true experts anyways. I would appreciate any help anyone could offer me in fixing this problem thanks alot. Je

It sounds like you need the patch from Curious Labs. Metacreations no longer exists.

Yeah... you need to upgrade from Poser 4 (Metacreations) to Poser 4.03 (Curious Labs). It's a free updater. Strange you're a newbie with Metacreations Poser as this hasn't been available legally for some time! H:)

Also, go into the Geometries folder and find the muscular Mike .obj file. (I don't have the mesh, so I don't know the exact name nor where it is stored in the geometries folder.) In the folder that has the .obj file, you'll also find a .rsr file with the same name. Delete the .rsr file. It is a copy of the .obj that Poser uses. Sometimes that gets corrupted. It could be causing the problem.
