I am trying to make the look of a poser character standing ona building or rock formation with the wind blowlying his hair and clothing. My question is how can I create the animation? Also I have expermented with some animations of like 3 frames and everytime I try to export it as a avi or other movie type file I never get it in the rendered finished version of the chaarcter what am I doing wrong?

When you go to "Make Movie" Set the Quality to Vurrent render settings. And it will render the way you want it. As long as your current render settings are set that way. Also, I set the resolution from the Default 72. To 200.. It takes longer to render the animation, But with it at 72 the shadows pixelate. As for the posing, Someone may have a pose that you could use for that "Posing on a rock". Other than that, you will have to pose the character. As for hair blowing in the wind, I dont know. Depends on what hair you are using that will let you pose it to look like its blowing in the wind.

I have had a bit of a go at making hair move. I would tart with Kozaburo PonyTail http://www.horae.dti.ne.jp/~kozaburo/dload.html Then by moving the PonyTail a bit at a time you can get hair blowing in the wind.
