This probably should go in the Carrara forum, but anyway I modeled a bar/lounge in RDS a long time back but every time I tried adding a Poser character to the scene RDS would lock up...so after playing around with Carrara I decided to give it a try. Opened the file and added the 2 Poser characters. Credits P4 nude woman with the Miko and Helena textures, Ikyoto's faces mixed and matched, Traveler' morphs and dress, the unbuttonable blouse, P4 skirt, the mod hair and long blonde hair I don't remember who created them. Everything else is either from the RDS CD or modeled by me. Be kind.. it's the first thing I have posted that isn't an animation

It's pretty nice, though the lighting feels kinda weird, you can see the blond cast a shadow upon Miko as if the light came from the front, yet it feels like she completely under the light source. Also its very dark in the front, yet in the mirror the scene seems much brighter. Also you might want to make your characters look a little more natural by bending their backs a little, bow their heads or little things like that. These are the things I'd modify in there, but apart from that, its very nice indeed. Good first post.

I agree with Blade, about the lighting, that is. Proper lighting may be the most important element and the most difficult to realistically render. I've spent hours changing and adjusting lights in a static scene to try for 'just the right look.' (Mixed results.) I don't have RDS or Carerra (MadRed goes green with envy) so I don't know how easy/hard this is in these apps. How about a wider view, just to show off the bar? It looks cool. And while I'm at it, how about light spots from a disco-ball? And maybe the blonde's phone number? :p And barkeep, a martini for her friend... V. good, keep on posting!
