Hi.....I run a windows 2000 OS with 512meg RAM These programs were working fine for the last 4 months on this systen...but I was messing with some stuff, and had to reinstall (after a full uninstall), and now i get this. I have since (this morning) reinstalled it all 3 times, and each time I get this weird blue thing, plus all my alert messages are blank. I noticed this rendering effect happens even when I only instal poser 4 (without the pro pack) so I am afraid my instalation files may be corrupt or something. But I really dont know. Any clues? Rawn

Strange that it happens only at rendering. Does it do it when rendering in a different Window. It looks like a sync problem, but that would be strange. http://download.com.com/3000-2086-10018691.html This is a link to the Sandra program that will test and benchmark your system. It might help. It's a free evaluation. In the help file you will also see a link to a M$ patch for a registry cleaner. Maybe that might help. Sorry man. I've seen this before but it was a Vsync problem with the monitor and video card setting. I doubt that it's the case here. Hopefully others here might be able to help. Luck, Q

Since "that little poser-guy status bar" is an AVI animation file (status45.avi), perhaps it has something to do with your system's media playback capabilities. Can you open and view the video in Media Player?

yep...that opens and plays fine.....it just looks like the code is not pointing to the right place or something. But since it happens right on install, I dont know what to do...it is totally bizzarre Rawn
