I have a question, will Poser 5 have the basic same mechanics that Pro and Poser 4 have, example, Cr2, rsr or png file, joint editor etc, or will they be new to learn all over again or will they be altered....Sharen

Sharen, The basic "mechanics" of the P5 file structure are identical to previous versions, with the exception that there are new blocks of data added to the various file formats to cover storage of dynamic hair and cloth settings, material shader nodes, new material library settings (these won't replace mat poses, btw - a very elegant enduser innovation IMHO), etc. Kupa

I'm so glad Poser 5 will be backwards compatible, because I was just now learning how to model and prepare stuff for Poser 5! I wonder if . . . - Custom characters will be easier to create? - Creating cloth motion clothing will be easy to create? - Creating conforming clothing will be easier? - Will Poser 5 run on my Pentium III, 1 Ghz, 128MB Ram system? - Will Poser 5 cost me $300 to upgrade, since I only have Poser 4? I said Poser 5 above, I meant Poser 4.

Will we still have the same library limitation where the library names get chopped off after 255 (or so)?! Will we be able to use subfolders and stuff? If not, will PBooost work with Poser 5?!
