Well we can all tell at this point that I'm a glutton for punishment. Here's the next Unnofficial Contest - "To be Continued" What does that mean, you cry. Well if you've ever seen a TV series where they end the episode 'to be continued' you'll know what I mean - very simple - make an image that makes the viewer want to know what happens next. Anything from the cat suddenly spying the open bird cage, to a treasure hunter opening a box marked 'Dangerous! Do not touch!'. Use your imagination and make Poser work for its living :) Rules: Contest ends August 31 at midnight. (yes this is right in the middle of DragonCon. That means I won't be able to get to close it until I get back that Monday night. I'm sure this bothers you) Up to 5 entries per person. Collaborations accepted Must have at least one recognizeable poser element Postwork okay Can be rendered in any program Subtitles, text and captioning okay Post link to image in this thread, and this thread only. Reminder threads do not count. Prize: In the spirit of the theme ... I'm not gonna tell you. grin But you can find the thread where many great poser artists and merchants have volunterred their work and marvel at the wonders. Trust me - it'll be worth it :) Request from the judge: Please come up with some sort of title that is not "Contest Entry" or "To be Continued" ... it gets confusing. I've noticed that some people use the single period as a bookmark. It is also handy when you want the image to speak for itself.

I might go for this one, there were some great prizes mentioned.

Okay, I've posted an entry in the poser gallery... ehm (feeling like a prat) how do I put in a link to it? Jack
chohole posted Wed, 07 August 2002 at 1:40 PM
Click on your picture in the gallery. When it comes up copy the http:// stuff from the address bar, then paste it in the box that says URL. You don't actually need the http:// but all the rest.

Because of some problem with a server (I think - I'm still waiting for feedback from the website guys) I have had to reload both of the entries. Hope this won't be a problem. Both of the links above are the same. You other guys better check your entries as well, some of them are missing as well.

Gee, with the server problems and everybody just getting back from Dragon*Con, I feel kinda guilty that I posted a query about the posting of results of this contest so soon after the Con. Looking at the posted pictures of the convention, it looks like it must have been one heck of a fun time! I'm sure everybody is like major tired. Sorry I bugged you so soon about it Lyrra. Take your time.

Alrighty - this contest is now over. um. I'll judge it and announce the winners by Monday morning. (I'm going out of town again - sorry guys) Lyrra

Have the results been announced? I dont recall seeing them.
guarie posted Mon, 16 September 2002 at 6:59 AM
Not that I've seen - but I haven't seen much of Lyrra lately either. That could be the reason why we haven't heard anything.
