You can import Poser texture maps into Bryce. Get the Poser Advanced Techniques guide download from MetaCreations' site; it includes instructions on integrating Poser with various 3D modeling programs including Bryce 3 and Ray Dream Studio 5. Be sure also to download and install the latest patch for Bryce 3 (if you don't have Bryce 4) from MetaCreations.

Hey don't know if it helps..I was able to import a poser figure with textures surprisingly with no trouble at all. I don't know if I did anything else to it..but I'm pretty sure I didn't. a) I exported the figure in the pose I desired as an .obj b) I then brought it into Painter 3D and painted it's colors the way I wanted. c) and don't ask me HOW because it never seemed to work before..I opened Bryce 4 and IMPORTED the .obj , I was asked one question concerning location of a texture..and I answered it...and the next thing I knew the poser was in bryce WITH full texture already applied. I was shocked because as far as I'd always known it couldn't have been THAT easy... Any answers from anyone out there? PAN~

Pan, Same here. Poser 4 figure Export to .OBJ then Import into Bryce 4 it holds the texture maps. If the .OBJ file isnt in the same directory as the poser texture maps Bryce 4 will prompt you to locate the specific texture maps location on your system. Imports like a dream with textures for me also. Life is so easy now... ;) Clint - Ray Dreamers Forum
