I created a figure using splines in Cinema 4d. I used the eclipse thing and had it copy a image into the splines for the picture. I used a exclude nurb and got a demensional figure. However when i export it into obj format and try and map it with the UVMapper I get long lines that looks like a bar code. Why is it not mapping correctly?

Can't say for sure, but there have been errors reported when using mirror in some modelers. One suggestion to try is to run it through 3dexploration. I've found that the program can fix a lot of .obj compatability problems. There's a fully funtional demo and if it works for you, buy it.

Oh, what I meant by run it through is import your object and export in the same format. Give it a different file name.

Can you convert your NURBS object into a polyhedron? It's possible that UVMapper can't work with NURBS objects.

how do I do that?

Sorry, I don't have Cinema 4d, so I don't know how to do it in that program. I use trueSpace and in that one there's a tool which converts NURBS patches into polygonal objects. Maybe you could try to ask about this in the Cinema 4d forum. Or you can send me the object and I can try to convert it and also look at it in UVMapper. If you want to do this, send me an IM and I'll tell you my e-mail address.
