Great Image, I love Cheese man! 1.first thing I would do is maybe synchronize the stampers/pistons and make them a little more even (1st and last at same position-up/down/up/down) 2.you could try making a boolean using a cube to cut out a wedge of cheese, maybe set it on a tester's table in the forground.but that might throw off the image at the same time. 3.lights-maybe place small cone lights in between the pistons(cut a small light hole, or place a lamp hanging that would cast lights in between the pistons, and possibly a low falloff light towards the ceiling in the center of the factory with a low brightness also. I'd say place lights in the building where you think they would go, and use those as light sources. As far as cheese, go to www.ditto.com It's a graphics search engine. My first attempt would be to enter cheese into the search engine, find a decent size picture of actual cheese, and use that as your texture map for the cheese. If that's possible.
Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.

Have no clue to the technical problems, but know cheese. What kind of cheese do you want, and at what stage in processing? Bonestructure may be right about getting a photograph. Indeed, if this is not already for a cheese company, and depending on what the image is intended for, you might get a cheese company to help, or, perhaps even pay to have their cheese appear. I'm very serious here, neighboring on Wisconsin to the north.

Haha.. wow.. Thanks for the responses guys.. I don't know a lot about cheese, really. The image is for my web page. The photo idea is definitely something I'll try.. And I'll try Fasttraxx's idea about the lights. I considered that myself... but I really didn't try it. The only thing I really tried with the lights was two long strings of lights across the ceiling.. that didn't do any good, as it cast shadows on the pistons, etc, so I couldn't see the important part of the picture. Thanks for the help, I'll post an update when I can. =) Rosh
