Well, let's see... - New CL Web site - Poser 5 revealed - Interest rates possibly heading down (again) - Stocks way up - I can see the mountains surrounding my town (I live in Oregon somewhat near the fires and have had over a week of <200 foot visibility in smoke) and - Lord of the Rings is out today on DVD! Yeah, I'd say today is off to one heck of a start! :-)

Just one little teensy question... what the heck is IFrames? Kate (whose browser evidently doesn't support them)

kate you using netscape? I think it's probably something only Internet explorer can handle. I could be totally wrong tho wouldn't be the first time either :) Rob

Yeah, Rob, I'm a die hard Netscape user. Won't let IE anywhere NEAR the internet from my machine. Bad enough I have to install it just to run Windoze. sigh Kate

[[ I think it's probably something only Internet explorer can handle.]] Translation: I think it's another of those things written specifically so that ONLY IE can use it, and deliberately designed to shut Netscape out.

all newer browsers should have IFRAMEs enabled... try upgrading your netsape to version 6.x or get Opera or Mozilla. i'm only aware of the older versions of netscape (4.x) not supporting iframe... other than that, yes, IFRAME was created by microsoft just for IE... but by now, everyone else should have caught up on support of it.

I did upgrade to Netscape 6, hated the living daylights out of it, and went back to 4.78 never to upgrade again.

Kate download Mozilla 1.0 and you'll find yourself in for a real treat. It will handle IFRAMES correctly (a bastardized browser directive if there ever was one) and anything else that IE 6 and earlier can throw at it. And it flies, too. It also has a neat tabbing feature, a la Opera, that allows me to check out these forums and drool over what CL has announced today on thier site. :-)PilotHigh posted Wed, 07 August 2002 at 2:37 PM
I have all the prefs enabled but just yesterday I got the iFrames error on a website.
