Hey guys, as long as we're locking down threads that are a waste of people's time, why don't you start locking stupid threads by stupid people who think it's funny to post a misleading headline like "POSER 5 INFORMATION!" and follow it up with a message that says "Gotcha," or "Suckers," or something equally as unfunny and doltish? Better yet, we can add a new icon of a big brown pucker and affix it permanently to the screen names of those who leave such cyberdroppings. Or, like the "Nudity" flag, we can add a "Stupidity" flag. Just a few suggestions.

x2000, a simple apology will do. Obviously you have upset more than just one person, so you can't say it's just someone trying to get you. You seem like the type of person that would hold a piece of food in front of a dog and keep pulling it away every time he tries to get it, for hours and hours at a time. Yes, people are very excited about Poser 5, does this bother you to the point that you have to tease or mock them? If anyone needs to get a life it's YOU! We are just anxious about getting Poser 5, we are not abusing anyone (except ourselves) You on the other hand have nothing better to do than get people upset. It would be one thing if this sort of asinine post appeared once, but several people have done it. It's not funny, it's just stupid. It's funny in the way that "Guess what? People complain about the waste of space when others delete posts, I think this is worse. It's utterly pointless. Unfortunately,x2000, since you were too busy being an asshole, you have characterized me erroneously. Unfortunately, the whole issue of personal attacks and violations of TOS seems as muddy as ever. Hell, sometimes it seems to depend on who says the words, who the "target" is, which moderator reads the words, and maybe even the weather. Now let's see. Actually, I liked the first shot better. The worm's-eye-view is always more dramatic. BTW, that rolled-up plastic down by the bottom of the bean can looks suprising real. His hair is pretty cool, too. Where did you get it? I don't recognize it. I've been trying for sometime now to make a quality hair prop of my own, but DAMN it's tricky. I have a whole new respect for people that can make that stuff. Hair is about the only thing I've tried to create that's really given me a hard time, and the only thing I'll still pay for (if it's good enough). But I WILL master it, damn it! You know, you're probably Oscar the Grouch's favorite artist now;) Fun though, ain't it?:)

Thanks for the compliments and input. That's Yann Hair by Neftis, and is available here in the Marketplace. It seemed to perfect hair for Marlin. That rolled up plastic by the bean can is actually a giant-sized condom. Now isn't that a shocker?! I'm not good enough to make my own hair. I did make my own characters for the Marlin Fingle comic strip, but I used Mike and Vicky as the base, and went from there. Here is a new version of Jill Chill, the woman who loves to taunt Marlin.

Thanks for the compliment. Jill needs to be redesigned a bit more. I gave her long nails, but they are way too long. I think her eyelashes turned out way too long as well. Jill and all my Marlin characters are specially designed to eliminate Crosstalk. I use the Tailor program to alter Mike & Vicky's clothes to fit them. I'm working on an idea for a series of cartoons, but that will be delayed. I need to learn how to pose Jill and company. I want a series of poses designed for use in an office, etc. Sitting poses are a big priority here. Unfortunately I haven't seen many freebie poses that will do the trick. This is the only one I found so far that is close. I don't even remember who made the pose. I will look through the Marketplace, and other sites to see if I can find a good set of sitting poses. If I can't then I am liable to design my own set of poses for use in an office environment. But then I'd need to find an office too.. complete with water cooler, etc.
