Is it possible, or is there a plugin to "cel shade" models in Bryce? The closest I've come is make a box with a texture that's just a black line around a white square (white with a black border) and that sortof works, but only for the box, and sortof the 'pyramid'... So is there a better way to do it in Bryce. Also is it possible/easier to do it in Maya?

Bryce has a wireframe and and solid render. Generate both the same size and overlay them. Oops, the back lines will probably show through. uvmapper in the free stuff section will generate wireframe outlines of obj meshes. I don't have maya but I'll bet it exports wavefront obj meshes among other filetypes. you can generate a black wireframe in uvmapper and resave the bmp and the mesh. I always color over these to apply a picture to an object but if you leave them plain it should give you the same result.

There's no cel shader for Bryce. I've been l;ooking for it lately, but the only way to get close is to use maskrender and some invert and dilate tricks in your 2D apps to create an outline of your object. You can aso use posterize filters and with some heavy post-processing you can create toon-effects, but it requires a lot of tweaking and it works different with each texture/model.
