10:30 VUE4 suddenly decides it can't save an image because there's no (90Gb?) space on the HDD 10:35 Reinstall 4.06 update, VUE refuses to boot 10:40 Reinstall 4.00 , refuses can't find a file on the CD 10:50 coffee 11:05 Delete VUE files from folder 11:06 Install 4.00 , refuses because the VUE3 serial is considered "invalid" 11:10 Dug up VUE3, install to "new" folder 11:15 Install VUE4, serial is very valid now 11:16 VUE4 refuses to run because there are no? atmospheres 11:17 Delete whole VUE biz from PC 11:20 Install VUE3, hangs on atmospheres 11:25 Install VUE3 on spare PC, hangs on atmospheres 11:30 Create VirtualCD from VUE3 CD ... play WarcraftIII...coffee...lunch 15:10 VirtualCD finally finished due to hiccups in atmospheres 15:15 Install VUE3 15:17 Install VUE3.1 15:18 Install VUE4 15:20 Install VUE4.06 15:25 Copy deleted scene,texture and object folders from backup 15:40 Boot VUE4, it actually works 15:40:30 Little bit baffled by the fact that afyer this totally clean install the OpenGL bit works with my Gf3 videocard 15:41 Disabled OpenGL, there's no sense in challenging the gods 15:50 finshed the image I was working on, look in the gallery under Day's End ( btw the Poser version can be found in the Poser gallery). This is ofcourse a little rediculous, I use VUE4 about 2-3 hours a month, used to be that much a day with VUE3.1 but VUE4 has always been a pain in the rear and that really takes the fun out of the picture biz.
