This house is from the early to mid 1800's. Story has it that the last occupants had to move out because they didn't get along with previous occupants - from a different century. It's a beautiful house, but needs repair, and has been empty for some time. I didn't get any full outside shots I really liked, but this is a partial shot.

The stairs leading up to the front door.

The front door. Note the hole on the left side. I was able to stick my camera inside that hole and shoot, although I had no idea what I was shooting, and could not see.

This is one shot taken through the hole in the front door. Due to the low light, I thought it worked better as a black & white.

A second shot through the front door hole, looking to the left of the first shot. Note the mirror. I was hoping to see an image of someone standing there, but to no avail.

This is looking through a window from the far side of the front porch. I have no idea who the bust is of. I shot much more, but I guess this is enough. These were all taken this afterrnoon, and it was really spooky. Hope you enjoyed it!

Heeheehee... these remind me of The Others. My favorite is the grainy b/w staircase shot. Looks like it's shot on 16mm. :-) (*

Neat house! Maybe you could make a deal with some realestate agent to get inside? May have to make another deal to get out again... >I have no idea who the bust is of. Just as long as it keeps looking in the same direction you're OK.

Wow! I would love to climb in a window and explore! Nice shots.

Being a b/w lover, the grainy interior shot, slightly askew, gives a real feeling of a creepy haunted house interior.

Damn these are so cool Marshall...especially the interior shots. I would definitely try and get into the place if I could. Poor place looks like it needs TLC....it must have been a majestic place to live.

I am, therefore I create.......

Glad you all liked this place. Yes Starshuffler, "The Others" came to me also. That movie, and "The Changeling" are my two favorite ghost movies. I guess it was pure luck sticking the camera in the door. I didn't think to shoot up, so I'm going back Friday to do that, and take a look in the other windows I didn't have time for yesterday. Hopefully it will be just as rewarding.

scary movies? ya'll like scary movies? I got a really scary movie for ya! my wedding films!!!!!!! ok, no more BAD jokes... neat pics, the staircase is a graet shot! The aspect of sticking a camera into an unknown portal as the hole in the door opens up such marvelous possibities of capturing something mysterious, great idea! Jack
