Ordered mover yesterday at 8 AM get an email at 5 PM telling me they are reviewing my order, (mind you I paid the $45 to get it the next day). Get an email this morning saying that I have a bad S.N. Do these people even own computers?? Now I have to wait until 8 AM to talk to someone, and probably fax a copy of my receipt, which costs more money because it's not toll-free. What really ticks me off if that I bought it from them and all my info is the same. Makes you wonder how they manage to stay in business. I registered the program the day I bought it, but everytime I've gone in to get an update I have to re-register. They should just hire someone else to take care of their business end. Thanks for letting me vent. If they don't deal with it today I will just cancel my order and forget about mover. Marque

Hello Marque, Very likely, if you purchased Vue 4 from us, there was an error in your communicating your serial number to the order clerk when you ordered Mover 4. As serial numbers need to be exact, that's probably why it turned up bad. We did not get a receipt fax from you this morning, but we did get a call to our call center at around 6:20 PST. We open up here in Oregon at 9:00 AM and got your order correction at 10:20 AM. At this point, everything needs to be validated before we can ship Mover 4 to you. Once that happens, we can ship it out. Unfortunately, it takes time to validate a serial number. We are careful about this because add-ons like Mover 4 are among the most pirated pieces of software. What's amazing about this is that when it comes to add-ons, plug-ins or other product extensions, many people who would not otherwise pirate the base product will go ahead and pirate the add-on. This is especially true with Adobe Photoshop plug-ins. Given that the maximum number of users is determined by who owns Vue 4, it doesnt take much in the way of piracy to make developing a product like Mover 4 unprofitable. I want you to know that we are trying to take care of the problem. I cannot guarantee it will be resolved today. Actually the last person I spoke with in the order dept re-ordered the software for me because there was a missing dash in the S.N. that was causing the problem, and she was the first of many who noticed and took care of the problem. Your office had only an answering machine on until 10:00, which was the last time I checked. I'm hoping to get this by tomorrow, if not it won't be until next week and I would expect you to re-imburse me for the shipping as this was NOT my error, I read this S.N. off to 4 different people and she was the first one to notice that the - had been left off. You should be able to validate my number easily as everything except the email address is the same as when I first purchased Vue 3 from your company. All it would have taken was to check the information you were given more carefully and someone might have noticed that it was only a missing - that caused the problem. It was also a little frustrating that the person who emailed that there was a problem with my S.N. at 5 PM promptly went on vacation and told me to have a nice day. Can you see why I might be a tad frustrated? Marque

And as far as this "if you purchased Vue 4 from us" I can send you copies of my CD the manual AND my reciept if you need them. I don't like being accused of piracy even in a round about way. Marque

It would be helpful to your customers if you had a phone number where you could be reached to deal with these problems, and don't give me the 877 number because they can only fax orders to them main office, at least that is what I'm told. The other two numbers I was given are a fax number and a number that I just called again and it is an answering machine. Marque

Hello Marque, I apologize for the vacation message. I dont know who sent that, but we have a short list on folks on vacation right now so I can guess. Noone has accused you of piracy. The back history is for the purposes of letting you know why we have a higher level of security on Mover 4 as against Vue 4. It would be a lot easier for us if we could treat it like Vue 4, but we already know that we cannot afford to do that. Support for e-on products is handled through the e-on website and through email. The number you were referred to is a number for resellers to call so its prioritized differently. At this point, your order is in the queue and Ive forwarded everything to validation. Sorry to sound like an old grouch...er...wait...I am an old grouch! Just frustrated because I thought I would be using it this weekend. Kind of like buying a meal and then finding out you have to wait for them to check your money before you can eat, I'm starving! I won't get it Monday or Tuesday because I will be gone until Tuesday night, so I guess Wednesday I will have to go get it at the FedEx, that is if you guys can get it straightened out by then. I HATE software thieves, they really make it hard on the people who are honest and I am so tired of having to deal with problems because of thieves. At any rate have a good weekend, Marque

Well now they apparently like my S.N. but say my credit is bad. Just checked my account and it has over $4000 in it but they say that my check visa won't work. Time to forget about ordering this as I think there must be some reason I am not to have it. I'll live without it I'm sure. Marque
