Which of the various export formats available to Poser and importable into Carrara will give me the best quality for the most economical file size? Are there reasons to use different one for different needs? Currently I've been working with OBJ but the files seem excessivly large. Obviously I won't be 'reposing' the figures once I have them in Carrara, and I'll likely be shading them in Carrara as well as that seems to have more options (once I figure out what all the darn buggers do... :) ). So I suspect there's a lot of data I'm importing that I could just as well toss out. Correct? Situations where that would not be correct?

OBJ OBJ OBJ.. Oh sorry. DXF doesnt have any UV Mapping abilities. If no mapping is needed and you just need to assign colors to the item then DXF is pretty good. I still use OBJ pretty much all of the time. Clint
