Here in New Jersey the sound of Cicadas fill the summer air! Was over my sisters and discovered a bunch of their leftover "Exo-Skeletons" on the trees, which they molt after coming up from somewhere in the ground and morphing from the nymph stage to adult!! Here's a macro shot I particularly liked! L8r!

Was lucky enuff to find this on my sister's shed. This Ciacada must have just emerged from the shell and was hangin out right by its former self! L8r!

Damn these are cool; really sharp too. Closer than I ever imagined I'd be.

I'm really diggin that first one. 110% photo montage material. So, I'm asking this. Do you have bigger version from pic 1? And would it be possible to have it and me to use it in my future works? Pretty please. .n

Oh, cicadas--when I read this I thought you MUST be in the south--but then I remembered the summer on the Hudson in NY where they were so bad you couldn't hear people speak. The second one is a really sharp macro--I wonder what the first would look like with a bit of fill flash--or maybe more backlight?? The first composition is good.
