This is a sequel to a recent thread. Had to go back to the haunted house, knowing there were other windows I never got to look through on the first visit. Also took my trusty workhorse, a Pentax K-1000 SLR, since my digital camera is somewhat limited. This first shot is for azy, with a 28mm lens, Kodak 400 Max film.

This is the bust that was sitting on the floor posted in the first thread. 200mm lens. I am told that it is probably James Lee, by which the house is now known. He was the original owner, and moved in back in 1848. The grain is real - low light/fast film.

A new discovery. This room is on the right side of the house, just off from the front door area. Some kind of waiting room, I suppose. Digital camera.

More window photography. First I thought I had a ghost, but it's just my reflection in the mirror against the wall. Digital camera.

This is shot through that hole in the front door as shown on the previous thread. This time, I turned the camera straight up. When shooting, only my hand and camera are inside the house, and I had this fear that "someone" would grab the camera out of my hand! Maybe Mr. James Lee....

One more film shot of this eloquent Victorian mansion. I sure hope someone saves it.

This is the next door neighbor's house. Nice, huh? Hopefully, one day the James Lee House will be in this condition.

I hate to think of the amount of money it would take to restore that house....it looks to be in pretty poor shape from your photos. Love em all Marshall!

They're are really cool!!! I especially like the one with your reflection.... cause it threw of my perception. I had to blink a couple a times and look at that one again. That bust in there is probably worth alot of mula!!!! Seems to me it should be in a local museum or somethin! L8r!

Lovely house... wish I had the chance to capture it also =) The bust is a great shot - and I like the ones of the outside loads too! The colours and angles really show the house off =) The last image is gorgeous, hope the same happens to your haunted house! Love Cat xXxXx

These are kewl, Marshall. I like the outdoor shots for the colors and the composition, and the old fireplace shot the best. You've captured that antique, musky feel of old houses pretty well. (*

We should all chip in and buy the house, restore it and rent it out as a retreat for photographers. Nice shots!

Interesting shots again--I agree the bust in B/W is a cool shot. Where is this house?? Perhaps Illinois/Chicago area??
