Bryce 5 is the same package for full or upgrade. You'll need to call Corel to get a new serial if you're switching to a Windows platform. They should find you already in their database if you registered any Bryce software before. The have everyone from the Bryce 1 days in their system. Corel searches by your phone number to find you. I had to tell them what my old phone number was 5 years ago when I registered Bryce II with MetaTools so they could find me and verify my existing serial number. It took about 2 minutes over the phone to get my new serial number to install the upgrade. Anyway, Bryce 5 doesn't look for earlier CD's or installs of Bryce. SHONNER

I was thinking about doing this. Let me fill you in. I had a fire in my house a year ago and lost or got mislaid much of my most precious software. I own Bryce 4, it's running on my MAC now. I got duplicate Poser disks to take care of that problem, but I don't want to spend the money and time to buy duplicate Bryce disks if I don't need them to upgrade. I will be using Bryce 5 on Windows as I'm slowly inching out of MAC territory. So, do you need the disks to upgrade or just the serial number? I will ask the techs Monday, but often they don't know-- I ran into this with Painter and PhotoShop as well. Don't have a fire, even a teensy one, the clean-up is what kills you. Emily
