I asked this over at the Poser forum, but the brycetech bee isn't what I'm looking for---it's a honeybee, as near as I can tell, and I need a fat, very furry black and yellow striped bumblebee. They're larger than honeybees---saw one at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Preserve that was larger in diameter than a US quarter! The ones in my garden aren't nearly that big, but they're very heavily furred, they buzz loudly and sort of 'bumble' from flower to flower.....The model needn't be poseable, BTW. As for the hummer, I'd very much like to get in touch with Emperor Ken, who made a beautiful one that I can't find. Can't find him, either........help!

3D Cafe has 2 bees, the thumbnails are pretty small but you can take a look.

Actually they have three, but no fat, furry ones. Thanks for the referral, though--I'd forgotten they had insects there. The highly detailed one is a MAX file too....correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think either Bryce 4 or Poser 4 can use that format.

You can use max files in either program as long as you convert them. I'm not sure but you can try out this program for conversion.

I wish I could use that app, but it's Windoze only, and I'm an avowed Mac person. I've never found a Macintosh-compatible equivilent, either......sigh

Here's the link for Emperor Ken's site - didn't check to see if the hummingbird is still there - but it should be.
