Like I said, I want to confirm some things with my contact at LIPSinc., but since you mentioned it ...

There is a LOT more to it than programming, believe me. I develop my own software and there is more to it then simple coding IF I wanted to make a Mac Version. (And I think your time estimate is extremely unrealistic.)

If it was a matter of a simple 1-week rewrite, why did it take them TWO YEARS to release a MAC version? The simple answer: ECONOMICS (i.e. demand)

But I wouldn't rule out your pricing theory either. I'll let you know what I find out.

By the way, in my tirade above, I wasn't knocking Mimic, which I think is a truly brilliant program. I WAS knocking Mike and Vicky for not performing as advertised -- and Daz for ignoring us animators in the first place. Also, my own guess as to why Mimic almost went away was that LIPSinc could make bigger money in the 3DS MAX marketplace. Check out the prices on their other product "Ventriloquist." It starts at $395.00 and they've probably sold LOTS more of them.
