Why do you think all the merchants seems to be having sales, everyone's waiting for P5 to be released :)

...damn! 75% off! Does anybody here use it? If it's worth it, I'm gonna get it.

...and how about XprssnMagic? Is it worth it? I can see me blowin' $100 this weekend at DAZ!!!
Little_Dragon posted Sat, 17 August 2002 at 8:32 AM
ming, Mimic is worth it at $195. If you don't get it at this fantastic low price while you have the chance, you'll be kicking yourself later.
Or someone here could volunteer to do the kicking for you. :)

You have to wonder though.... since they're selling it so cheap right before P5 comes out, will it even work with P5? And if not, will we get a price discount on a future version of mimic that's compatible with P5? I'm not going to spend $50 on a product that's only usable for a month. Tilandra

We've been told that Poser 5 will be compatable with previous versions and from what we've seen of the animation pallette I think I can guarantee Mimic will be compatable with version 5...
ming posted Sat, 17 August 2002 at 10:23 AM
Even if it doesn't work for P5, you can still use it in P4.

I will like to know what are DAZ plans before buying it and if it will work with Poser 5. A message from Danfarr addressing this and a response to the comments that it has some issues with the Millenium figures would be really welcome.

Mimic saves animated pz2 files so there's no reason it won't work with poser5. Rob

I'm really, REALLY thinkin' about getting Mimic.

i'd like to second the vote for a word from daz as to whether mimic will work with poser 5. that's a really nice price for mimic...
SmallFry posted Sat, 17 August 2002 at 10:18 PM
btw, has anyone bought morphos from daz? i'm trying to figure out how morphos works. will it work with p4 figures? it might be a great way to work with the tons of morphs traveller created at morph world.
