Here are 2 or 3 for free:-)notefinger posted Tue, 20 August 2002 at 7:49 AM
I've checked out their redwoods but they come over in one piece so the leaves couldn't be seperated from the trunk for textureing.

How do you split it?

CDouble-click on the redwood name. This opens the split window. Click SPLIT. It takes some time, about 2 minutes on my machine :-).

If you don't want to split'em (as the more objects vue handle, the more performance decrease), you can access the seperated trunk and leaves textures with the textures summary. Argentium Thri'ile

Yes AT, you're right. I even did not have a look. Sometimes Objects has to be splitted to show up all their material. But in this case it was not really necessary, except if... you want to change the trunk for a more natural one or something like that:-). Guitat

Did you really had some meshes that don't show up all materials until you split'em ? That never happened to me... Argentium Thri'ile

Maybe my English was again confusing. What I wanted to say is that sometimes you have an object or part of an object where you have 1 mapping what shows up for the entire object/part. But when you split it (you cannot split any object), you can change the texture for each individual part. :-)Guitta
