I love this movie... "Planet of the Apes" always has been one of my alltime favorites in the Sci-Fi corner. :) Nice pic, I think only the texture of good ole Lady Liberty (or what's left of her...) needs a bit tweaking... I don't think it should look this rusty, rather more like concrete... hmm... dunno? Greetings, Kalle

Nice start :) A couple of improvements I can think of : - Add a cliff in the background and some rocks close to the camera to add some depth. - The statue is made of copper (or similar metal). It could looks a little more green. Reduce the scale of the material to make the rust spots smaller. - Maybe some 'junk' on the beach, like shells, algae, little rocks... to make the beach less clean. Another Laurent

I don't know how to modify the statue color. I don't know how to create "copper" like color and corosion together. any idea ? I will add some stuff too. Laurent

If you go to the material editor once you have chosen your material, you will see a bunch of tabs that have to do with that choice, go into each one of them and mess around to see what you can come up with. To get to the material editor, choose your material then double click the sphere at the top of your explorer withing Vue. Sharen

Planet Of The Apes - how about an image from the other famous movie based on another novel by the author (if you can guess that one LOL)?

I'm at work and so can't access Vue, but I'll certainly whistle a happy tune while on the "Bridge..." 8^) MN

The tune's "Colonel Bogey" or something, I think. You could make a soundtrack for your picture ;o) Sorry, this is getting way OT - but great pictures like the one above sets one's imagination spinning ;o)
