I've been trying to pre-order P5 all morning, I keep getting stopped at the past serial number request. It seems the number that came with my Pro Pack is no longer good enough for them. I hope they don't think they'll be getting me to go for the full version that way!

try using the original serial that came with poser not the propack one Rob

hermit, that will change your price if you use another serial number, please try again and then email me at service@curiouslabs.com if it still doesn't work. (We just fixed a small bug.)

Hermit,Ithink the serial number is case sensative, did you use uppercase for the letters.Maybe be it you are typing A zero instead of the letter O or vise versa. It took me A couple of tries because that what i was doing. Maybe that will help, David

I used all lower case and mine seemed to go through fine.

I didn't have any problems entering my PP serial#. Although, I almost entered the number from the back of PP box and not the serial# on the manual's sticker. You might want to double check that the serial# you're entering is the one that comes up in Poser under the "about" screen. -Irene-

Hi Everyone, Curious Labs Tech support handled the matter in a flash. The order is in and now, how do I sleep for the next couple of weeks of anticipation? Thank all of you for the speedy advice too, nice to know so many great folks are ready to lend a hand. ;-))))) Hermit

Hi, sorry to bug you but everyone at CL is away and I have a major problem. I have a mac and just tried to get the download I just bought to upgrade from poser 4 -5 and I got stopped at the serial number, so I did a forum search and found this thread. obviously that bug wasn't fixed for mac users, and I need to download before the end of the month or I won't be able to download the content CD the next month without paying as it will use up my whole allowence for downloading.. this is why I bought the download at the end of the month, and also because I have a week off work to play with my new P5. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

yep, thanks. But the thing is they're all away until the 5th of jan at CL. I've emailed them and IMd starlet as well, so I know they will help me when they're back, it's just sad for me that I can't play with it now that I am off work for a week. It would have been good. that's what influenced me to get the download one rather than the packaged version. And then when I went to their site, there was a message saying they were all away but I could still purchase and get the download. So they've taken my money already, but there's no one there to help with problems. Love esther

Hi, guess what, CL wrote back to me, even though it says on their blurb that they're still away. They gave me a new serial number so now I can download my poser 5! Yipppeee. Love esther
