I am very interested in the new Walk Designer modification offered by Nerd in the marketplace at Renderosity. However, I am wondering just how much this will be needed within Poser 5 if at all. For instance, just how good are the new Posette and Dork going to be and, if they are very good, how many folks are planning on upgrading to the 3rd versions of Mike and Vic that are coming soon? Will the next generation of Millenium folks be THAT much better than the stock figures in Poser 5? Part of what I'm saying is that even though I currently use Mike and Vic for pretty much everything I do, I hate that it has been such a big issue to make the Millenium figures compatible with things meant for Posette and Dork and vice-versa. Are there going to be more standards between the Millenium figures and stock Poser 5 characters this time? Finally, if the upgrade to Vic 3 and Mike 3 is warranted, is the Poser 5 Walk Designer going to remain dedicated primarily to the new Posette and Dork with little or no support for the Millenium figures? Anyone with any information about this cross-compatibility issue please share it with my none-tech savvy self. :^)

I bought a few weeks ago Nerds walk designer update. I like it much, and I use it very often. Some sample animations made with walk designer you can find on my website. If you buy it on nerds store you can save $5. (www.nerd3d.com) Mazak

Probably not technically feasible but it would be great if there were some kind of "Poser standard" for figures so that there would be better interop for poses walks, etc. "Smart" figures or something that optimize a given pose for the individual figure.
