Hi there,I built a Star Wars-style scene for a Sci-Fi wallpaper contest at 3dcenter.de, and tried to play around with motion blur. I would love to receive feedback on the effect, as this is the first time I use said feature and am not too sure whether I'm using motion blur "right" and to the best effect.
so, yes. Your feedback is very much appreciated. :)

Your image is simply beautiful (as usual) , and the "motion blur" gives the feeling of speed . Nice colors. Yves

Did you use the blur in photoshop or in Vue ?

Hi agiel, the blur was made using Vue4. I had to crank up supersampling to 12 subsamples and "best quality" to get a smooth result. scaling down the image has helped, too (was originally rendered at 1600x1200). I found it pretty hard to get noise-free results with motion blur in Vue4. @YL, thanks a lot. :) have a nice week-end, -Sascha.rb

Pretty good! :) would prefer it if the x-wing was more horizontal and flying slightly towards the camera like over my shoulder, maybe a bit bigger - really like the fog too :)
