Can you get it to work without full body morphs? I am trying to strip those from my characters, and produce poses to do the same thing, but it is a time consuming task? How configurable is it (I really considered it, but just wasn't qutie convinced) eric

You can uncheck the morphs you don't want affected. So if you only want the head to be affected, then uncheck the body. Works great!

That would be upgrading not ungrading.

I can't get mine to work. I emailed DAZ, but the only thing they told me was I had to change the properties of one file so that it was not read only. This was for the PC only. I'm running Poser Pro Pack and when I try to make changes to the figure, it doesn't automatically update as it claims to do. When I click on the button to update the image, Poser locks up and I have to exit the program. I've tried this on two different machines: one with 256MB and one with 512MB RAM with similar results. Perhaps I've gotten a bad download file. Has anyone else had problems with Morphos on the PC?

Yes, I did and asked for a refund. I've bought just about every Python app that has been released ar DAZ and have been very hapy with it, but not Morphos. For one thing, I thought the updates would occur as you were using the sliders, in real-time. But also it is very unresponsive. It might appear to be locking up, but it's just responding VERY slowly. Just right click on the Python tab in your taskbar and select CLOSE. Poser should be okay after it closes. Mine also kept popping up with an annoying Python script window every time I would do something. Maybe our versions are corrupted. I often buy things from DAZ as soon as they are released, and they often email me with updates or notices saying the files were corrupted. So it's deinitely within the realm of possibility. Good luck!

My copy started up like my late model 1952 Ferguson tractor... cough, cough, patooey. It finally started and works fine after telling me at one point that I needed the current/ version 8 of TCL (Tickle) server. I haven't messed with Tickle for a couple of years. Then I rebooted installing TCL and the darned thing ran fine. Go figure. I don't know but it's great now. Mines the second pix from the top.

Well, I changed the read only file like I was told to and I still can't get it to work right. When I make changes it does not show them as you do it. I have to hit the create button to see what I did. So far I have gotten a good laugh at the mess I had made when I hit create but I still can't get it to work right.

Same here, Kayjay ... that's what I was saying before. The reason I didn't likeit was because it didn't show the changes as you do them (realtime). Is it supposed to do this?? Does it do this?
raven posted Sun, 25 August 2002 at 4:59 PM
You adjust the sliders to the maximum that you want those morphs applied, then you hit the create button. You should see the figure change to anything from slightly to a lot. Then if you adjust the Pose Level slider at the bottom, you can increase/decrease the effect of the character, which you should see in real time. Adjusting the individual body part sliders does not give you real time feedback, you have to hit the create button to see the change, and then play with the pose level slider to see a realtime increase/decrease of the effect. That's how it works on my Pro-Pack anyway.

Thanks for the info Raven! I'll check that out. Unfortunately, it won't help with the unresponsiveness and script windows popping up all the time that I get. Looks like a call to DAZ tech support. Thanks again.

Thanks Raven. I was under the impression though that you could see the changes as you moved the dial. I will play some more. Appreciate the feedback!
