Dang it is insanely hard to find a posable bird for poser. it is also ironic that I can find bird cages but no birds? anyone know where I can get any kind of bird for poser as long as it is posable?

Some cardinals here...don't know if they're poseable. He used to have more of other types of birds, you might want to contact him and see if they're still available elsewhere.kkndmaster posted Mon, 26 August 2002 at 12:25 AM

daz has an eagle

DAZ also has an eagle expansion pack (turns the eagle into 24 different birds of prey) and an animation set. If you purchase the eagle, be sure to visit bloodsong's 3D Menagerie and Lannie's 3D Model World for all manner of free eagle morphs, textures, and related accessories.
Vista Internet Products sells a number of bird species by Lyne Masamitsu and Debra Ross (ducks, hawks, falcons, seagulls, parrots, macaws, parakeet, toucan, raven/crow, songbirds, flamingo, pelican, canary, finch, owl, and another eagle).

For big birds, there's Daz's Eagle with the expansion pack and Eagle map. Thats a total of 3 seperate products. The poses make it worthwhile. They also have the songbird with Great Tit expansion pack. The Daz stuff can be a little spendy by the time you're done, but they're worth it. Bloodsong has some nice morphs and textures for it at 3D Menagerie too (free). I'd check out Bloodsong first, and decide what base models you can buy that she has morphs and textures for. It really makes your dollar go farther. For ALL sorts of birds, Lynn at Vista has the widest selection. Canaries to budgies to flamingos to everything else. Unless they've changed, Vista mails you a CD of what you buy, rather than let you download. Lynn does beautiful work, and you won't be disappointed.

There used to be the free "Shakle Falcon". I can't find a URL for it, but I think redistribution for none commercial is OK, so if you message me with an email address I'll send you the zip, or try contacting the author: sharkey@cybergate-corp.ch
