Subject: Cannot Render to disk. Any suggestions?

Hello! I'm new to Vue and have been working on a few scenes. I'm having a problem that no matter what size I make my final render I cannot render to disk at all. I've tried selecting each of my partitions (100GB Drive) and most have at least 10GB free. Each one gives me a "not enough space on disk" error. I've looked through the help files and the manual and I can't find anything relating to my problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? :) Thank you! Lisa

What version do you have? If you have it updated with the patches, it should work. Other than suggestion you check to see you're up todate, I'm at a loss. Maybe someone else has more info, but when asking for this type of help the more information you can give will help getting the right answer. operating system / version etc. ~s~

Okay, maybe it's the update then. I'm using Vue straight out of the box. Version 4.06-02 on Win 2K, AMD Athlon 1.4 with 512 RAM. Sorry 'bout that. I'm usually more thorough in my calls for help.:) Lisa

I was having problems , same error message using upto Version 4.03, (then Version 4.05 fixed this), I have also downloaded 4.1 at work on NT, and Win2000 pc's and all works okay with rendering to disk. Will change my home pc to 4.1 as well, as seems more error free), ood luck Gary.

The 4.1 update fixed it for me. Thank you! :) Lisa
