Hey friends, God has allowed me to gather a majority of the programs needed to create a film, I plan to jump right into it. Is there anyone here who would like to help write a story line and like to join in the effort of creating a full length feature film? If the film sells, or if we pick up a distributorship, then you'll get paid, if not, its volunteer work, but wouldn't look bad on a resume! My only thing is that I would not want anything blasphemous or sexually oriented in the film. The story would perhaps be along a fantasy genre. In any case, these are the programs I have for the animation: Poser 4, Poser 5 (soon) Bryce 5 (would purchase NaturalPose if it is compatible with P5) Lightwave 6.5b JASC PaintShop Pro 7, with animation shop Micrografx Picture Publisher 8 Pinnacle Studio 8 Acid 3.0 XenoDream (can you create animations with Xenodream? Hmmm...) Mimic I would like to start thinking about the characters, then move into the story outline, then to the complete story, and then move into storyboard sketches, and begin animating and sound editing one by one. I can composite the animations together in Pinnacle Studio, and add theatrical music, complete with Title and Credit screens, transitions, etc. Perhaps an epic, inspiring, mystical adventure filled with neat characters, creatures, animals, and an underlying symbolism beneath it. IM me if you're interested, or post to this thread with ideas. God bless! Ben

Sounds exciting, Ben. Do you already have story ideas? If so you may want to outline them along with more specific guidelines.

One thing that would help is for you to post a sample, or a link to a sample, of your animation. It's important to match the correct animator and writer together. I have tons of storylines, but very specific ideas on how things need to look. And, of course, you don't want to work with someone whose creative vision is very different from yours. It's an interesting idea, and I wish you luck with it!

If you want to try your systems out on a shorter item, I've got a 2.5 minute animation I wouldn't mind seeing made...

I have written 11 completed novels, 2 of which I have published. Like Cresent, I have many storylines, only I write about what interests me. If you have all this software ready to create your movie, I would suggest you start out with a short subject. Once you have mastered a short project, you can move up to longer and longer projects. (of course, that's only my idea of doing things....)
