I'm enjoying checking out all of the abyss entries and would have entered had I the time. Inany case, I did a series on Beebe and Barton's explorations and these may be seen via the attached url. There are some eight plates and have their own internal navigation. All rendered in Bryce 3 with Poser and Infini'D modeling and the now defunct Extreme3d (Macromedia) in 1998. Remember Bryce 3 with all of those bugs:) Looking forward to see the winning entry, manowar

Hey, don't knock Bryce 3, that's what I used to make my scene. Never had a problem with it after 3.1, and sometimes I have to smile to myself listening to all the problems everyone is facing with the newer version. Stuie

I started with Bryce 4 and moved to Bryce 5 a year later (when it was new). I enjoy B5, especially for its network renderer. Made it possible to render my challenge entry in 1 hour instead of the 6 my computer estimated if it had done it alone. If Bryce 6 is going to only support Windows XP though, I will be sticking with Bryce 5. I'm not upgrading my OS too (and all the hardware and other software that hates WinXP). Ah! What is this soapbox I'm standing on?

Alduin, I agree with you to an extent about upgrading, but sooner or later you're pretty much forced into it. Just think about the poor individuals still on dos; they can do their own thing, but try to interface with someone else! manowar

I'll "upgrade" (yeah, I don't consider XP an upgrade), but not to XP. Maybe to the Version After XP or beyond, when my hardware I'm using now that XP doesn't like is worn out, etc.
