Subject: Can anyone basically tell me the difference here....

....between "carve" and "inner bevel" and "outer bevel" and the pros and cons to each?? They are in the filters and there are times that I find one more useful than the other, but at times it's a "guessing" game as to what actually will work best?? ~3D ;-)

Inner bevel puts a 3D bevel on the inside of the selection boundry. Outer puts one on the outside. Not sure about carve, never used it. -Trav

Just a guess here, but I'll bet "carve" puts a V-shaped bevel with the selection boundry at the center of the V. Diane

Of course the best thing to ALWAYS do is not to take peoples word for it - try it yourself and experiment!! That way your stuff will always be different from everyone elses. Take care
