I have a question about the figures I'm making for Poser. They work great and all, but when I was building a scene, I went to the materials lab. I realized that none of my figures actually have names under there. They're just 'Figure 1, Figure 2,....' and so on. How do I give an object a name? Incase that's not clear enough.... :) I'm not talking about the actual material names. I got that down. I'm talking about naming the object who owns those materials.

Go into the Hierarchy Editor & double click on the Figure 1 name. It should highlight. Then Type in your name of choice & hit enter or return. That should do it...

Or select the figure body and hit ctrl+i for properties and rename it in the dialog box. mac
