Hi gang. I wanted to drop a note letting everyone know whats up with me. I was let go from a company I had been with for 16 years, back in Novemeber. I was a Systems Engineer. The company merged with another and they did away with my entire team. Ok, Good news. I just secured a job today as a Systems Engineer managing Clustered NT and HP/Unix systems for a large internet banking company! Whooo!! I start Monday. Bad News, I was able to hang out in the forum most of the day since Novemeber. Now it will be pretty much evenings. I just wanted to let you all know where I was during the days...I'll still be working the forums and doing everything I've always done here at Renderosity, just not during the day. FYI only, Clint

Hey what city? With those skills if you'd been out here in San Francisco the recruiter's would've been all over you like a pack of Starving Raptors on a lame bunny rabbit.

Thanks everyone! I am very excited. arcady - Yep, Those Head Hunters were all over me like a pack of starving dogs...Funny thing is I found this job on my own.. LOL. SHHHH, Dont tell my wife about the job situation in SF. She is from there and all her family still lives there. I dont want to go near Calf. Its just to darn pretty here in Atlanta.. ;) I wish it was a little more open here in Atlanta as far as the culture goes. I need to live somewhere like LA, just for the society/culture aspect. Im a wild person and feel pretty confined in GA. Im trying to bring some open culture to Atlanta.. hehe.. Not working! ;) Thanks again all... Best Clint

Clint: Just to let you know, LA is in Calif. :) Unfortunately for those of us who get stuck in the same catagory as them... As for SF, well; we've just about as much 'open culture' as anyone could possibly ever want. :) (Sometimes a little too much, like when all those guys with the 'onesided pants' start walking around during the festivals. There's a site that will burn an image into your mind for years to come, who said anything about combat shell-shock. :) )
