Hey gang, I just thought I'd share this little tidbit I worked out while chipping away at an image I've been working on: PBooost! allows you to further subdivide your Poser 4 libraries into banks. This is a great thing, but what if your Crosstalk fix (I use Nerd's EMC Fixer) isn't in the bank you're currently working with? Well, make it easier on yourself. Copy and Paste your Crosstalk fixer files into each of your ##SwitchBanks directories. Then, no matter which Figure Library bank you're in, your crosstalk fix is right there and handy. NOTE: Nerd's EMC Fixer will LOCK PBooost! out of the Poser4 directory structure as it is. Before you copy and paste it, open it in the Deep File Editor (PBooost! 1.3). You'll see there's a GetStringRes line under the first texture reference. Remove it completely, then resave the file. NOW copy and paste it. The edited file still fights crosstalk with 100% effectiveness, and won't lock out PBooost! when you load it. Although Hogwarden recommends that you keep your ##SwitchBanks folder empty except for the marker files, I've found that this little trick saves me loads of time when working with multiple figures, items of clothing, and so on. I don't have to switch banks from clothing to characters just to get my crosstalk fix, when my characters have already been loaded. Since the EMC Fixer is only 25k, it doesn't take up that much extra space, either. Just thought I'd share that with everyone...happy rendering! CT (BTW, I know this may become moot with the release of P5, but hey, not everyone will be grabbing it on release day...and this may help those folks in the meantime).
