I hear that there are no dumb questions so.... What is a smart prop? Is it a prop that automaticaly goes to a certain position (like hair)? If it is how do I make one? Thanks

When you parent a prop to a body part in Poser4 you can save it to the prop library as a "smart prop". It will automatically parent to that bodypart when opened. -JH.

It's a leftover term from the Gulf War... Remember the "Smart Bombs"? Apparently they could ask for directions on the way to their target ;-) -JH.

Well there you go. I'd never even heard of smart props and I spend an awful lot of my waking hours making props! You learn something every day. Totally off subject, but it reminds me of the joke told by a friend in the Royal Air Force. What's the difference between a Fighter Controller and a bomb? Answer, some bombs are smart. You can adjust this joke to suit whatever profession you have a downer on.
