Anyone know how the global illumination effect can be created in Bryce? I've tried hollowing out a sphere and making it a bright white but objects placed within render as sillhouettes or smudgy gray. Any input is Appreciated, thanks.

first check out this rather lengthy thread at the link above. extremely helpful GI information. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=783641 ... is another thread which shows my feeble attempt, and my solution to one problem I was having with GI in Bryce.madmax_br5 posted Sun, 01 September 2002 at 1:08 PM
try your sphere idea but make it reflective and the whitest specular halo possible without making a huge white circle, then select blurry reflections from the render options, add a little reflection to yout objects as well.

Thanks to both of you. There's enough information in that first thread to keep me busy for a year.
