About the eyebrows: have you tried giving them the same color, highlights, etc, settings than the skin? That way, there shouldn't be a seam between its skin part and the forehead skin. There must be several lashes MTs at Traveller's Morph World (boys and girls, repeat with me: "link at the rigth column". At least the ones I use I thinl I took from there. I see you are making a "makeup" approach. The lips look a little bit too shiny to me, but it's makeup. I would lower the bump setting. About the rest: awesome work. It's really highly detailed. Hi Emilio, the lips are no bumps, its all texture but i agree with you to make the upper lip not that much shiny... tink at the right column ;-) aehm, no its not there anymore, it's in "web resources" now, i think i am not sure whats up with the eyebrows ;( i checked the color settings, they are all the same will work on that

It isn't bad so far .. Just seems to be a little blue on the nose that looks odd. To me the map doesn't look all that differnt from what I do with some smaller maps and the only place I could see using the big map is to show off a new character like you are doing now but that is just my opinion .. Don't mean to rain on your parade and all S Nice texture nonetheless ..

Your Annie looks really fine. I like especially the eyes and the point on her cheek (Sorry dont know the english-word for this). I have an idea for the lashes, because i dont like the standard figure-lashes: I will test if a really small lashes-object could be placed over the standard lashes, means the lashes can be made as real as possible and no transmap is needed. What you think about this. SHARKEY

Sharkey, brows are a problem. The problem with the prop option: different facial expressions move the brows - the prop will not follow the brow polys. If they were a separate group, they might parent to the brow and not just the head. It seems that we are limited to texture and bump. Jaager

are we talking about brows or lashes ? i reposted the actual image of annie, please take a look at the other post think the lashes are ok but brows are definately a problem! i haven't thought of a transmap for eyebrows yet but that might solve the problem I'll try ;-) thanks for the idea, Jaager -Ede

You no can use a transmap on eyebrows. Why? Here is an experiment: Render<>Materials<> 'uncheck' Texture changes apply to entire figure <>Material:<>EyeBrow <>Transparency Max= 100%.<> OK. { <> = click } Now render a facial closeup. That is what will show between and around the lashes. = There is nothing behind the brow polys to see when they themselves are transparent.

Here is a premise to ponder Re: close ups. Bring your model into the screen and dolly in until you fill with the size that you intend to render. (My screen resolution is 1200x1000~ and Poser screen 900x900.) Now, in your 2D paint program, zoom the facial portion of the texture until it equals the same screen area. Whatever the texture has to be at 100% zoom to equal that resolution is the size the texture must be for Poser not to have to fake filling in the gaps. Poser does not perform magic with textures.
