I exported a character into Bryce and parts of the clothing changed, grew these weird protusions and strange stuff like that. Is there any way to keep this from happening? Azreal

This sounds very much like invisible items of clothing being exported with the rest of the figure. Do you have the latest Poser 4 patch? This automatically rejects hidden/invisible items and doesn't export them. If not, make sure that you deselect the check boxes for invisible parts in the export dialogue when you export a figure.
