With all this talk and exitement about Poser5 there's been one question burning in the back in the back of my mind that may have already been aswered by a previous thread, but it's kept me from even considering the purchase Poser5, What is bothering me is that if I buy it,will I be able to use all the neato stuff I already have for Poser4 in Poser5, or will I have to buy all new stuff?

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

YES! FOR THE LAST TIME, YES! ALL of your Poser content will work in Poser 5. That means figures, props, textures, poses, etc. :-) Anthony Hernandez Curious Labs

what about the vice-versa thing. Will anything done in Poser 5 be able to be used in Poser 4? The reason I ask this is that I run more than one station and even though I was able to afford one copy of P5, I would still like to be able to run the P4 version and know that I will want to use the same models and scenes at both stations.

Provided you don't put things like dynamic hair, cloth, and procedural shaders on your content, I don't see any reason why not.

from what i have read in the maual release. P5 has all the P4 features and then the aditional addon's so yes if you use p4 models you can run them back and forth. as to useing the P5 models, I would assume (gota love that word ROlls eyes) i would think not. Im sure they will have features and mods not saported in P4. as to cloth, manual states you can use cloth to modify/morph clothing and save as morphs so if you do so and save in P4 format should be useable in P4. Go over to CL and dl the manual it should answer a lot of this questions for you. Hope this helps laters Vel
