I have an obj file and the texture map but I can't figure out how to convert it into a poser prop. Can anyone direct me to a laymans tutorial or help in anyway? Thanks all!!

Is this just for a static prop or is it an articulate model (does it move)? Sharen

Static there are no moving parts on the models. Thanks in advance.

You can import it into Poser, then if you have your texture map, go to materials library, select from your list of materials and assign your texture map to it, then go to the props library, click the little plus at the bottom of the library and give it a name. You should probably put your object file in a geometries folder and your texture map in where ever, but don't move them or when you go to your props library it won't be able to find it. That should do it. Sharen

Re post #4 I don't think it matters where you put the object. My understanding is that Poser will write the geometry into the pp2 (prop) file so the original object is on longer needed.

so that would mean that it only need to have the texture file in the same place?
