Has anyone seen a model of one of these anywhere? Would appreciate any pointers!

I bought a very good one from DeEspona for only $20 - it's in the picture in my gallery called "Dawn at Wu Tien Shan". Search for DeEspona (or is it De Espona?) on the net. They do a whole lot of ship models - pretty much the best ones around.

Actually, I just checked. Their site is www.deespona.com, but there they only sell the full CD of all their models for about $500. However, you can buy the junk, or any of their other models, individually from Turbosquid (also linked from the DeEspona site). Make sure you get the *.obj version if you are going to use it in Bryce.

I found that junk on the Turbosquid site at $81.50 with textures (un-assigned) or $107 (assigned). Thanks for the tip but it's a little out of my in-pocket range at the moment (just over half the cost of a Poser 5 upgrade) Appreciated anyway. I'm going to keep my eyes on their site.

That's funny, I bought it for only $20. I'll try to see where that was and get back to you on it.

GROINGRINDER posted Thu, 12 September 2002 at 12:57 PM

Incarnadine I will start working on it tonight. I should have a wip posted tomorrow. This will take a couple of days.
