WOW! What is up with them giving all that away for free! Not complaining a bit. That is a nice freebie! I am just d/l now, but I have PP installed, so I might not be of much help...

Glad I could contribute something (even as small as this :) I've found that whenever poser responds so quickly to a file and doesn't seem to do anything, there is an error in the file (I have munged more than my share over the last few months experimenting). The glories of the plain text data file! eric

WONDERFUL! I hadn't even seen the freebie yet but when they released the dragon I was thinking "I wish I had a treasure to go with it so I could make N billion Smaug images". Eowyn (wanders off to get the freebie)

Anyone who wants to download this be forewarned this is a 25Mb download. One of the JPEGs appears to have been saved uncompressed.
Routledge posted Thu, 12 September 2002 at 3:34 AM
Actually it is compressed just not a huge amount.

you sure it's not the new protection scheme they got going that's made it that big?
Marque posted Thu, 12 September 2002 at 4:23 AM
orion1167 did you edit the right one? I use the pro pack so I did the edit to that file, there are two piles one for pro pack and one for p4, just a thought. Marque

I was going to ask about the filesize, also. Not that I'm complaining (broadband); I was just curious, as it's larger than the full Millennium Dragon download itself. Has anyone noticed the dragon-rider harness yet? :)
c1rcle posted Thu, 12 September 2002 at 5:41 AM
what harness? where where?

I had a problem after downloading and installing. The file, PileB.jpg, did not install. I received a CRC error during the install process. I had this same problem when I purchased the full MilDragon, but DAZ sent me a new link to download again. I have a very slow dial-up connection and that is no help. I wish the DAZ free models would stop increasing in size. My slow connection can't handle these large downloads and I may have to quit until I get broadband or DSL. I've been downloading freebies every week for about 3 years and hate to stop since they have great models.
