I don't know if this is related with Poser 5 at all but ever since installing Poser 5 and register, the next day I tried to access the internet with my AOL connection I haven't been able to. AOL says I need to upgrade to Explorer 6 but Explorer 6 installs from the internet so I won't be able to use the internet from home until I get a disk from Microsoft. I was wondering if anybody else have had the same problem. Again this might not be related to Poser 5 but since it happened the next day after the installation I've been wondering.

Not me but I was using IE6 and AOL7. Doubt it is P5 related. Ron

P5, AOL 7, and IE5 here. The only problem I have had is that Poser 5 crashes when I try to render with AOL and IE running....

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Hi Sorry if this sounds negative but I had some pretty bad problems with AOL 7 overwriting stuff and causing crashes to my software not the os.(I also know several people who have had the same problems). The solution well I quite politly, not, told aol that if they could provide me with straight internet access(I.e. using the IE6 browser without their ...... browser) I would carry on using them otherwise get lost! Software btw where you get unsolicited messages from bored hosewives who suggest you are having carnel relations with your pets!! so much for security! It took me 4 months to remove all of the bits of their browser it was all over the show. Soo. perhaps one of these 'bits' on your system may be causing the problem. just my opinion Dave

I do have to say AOL is the buggiest program I have. It crashes all day long. Ron

Wow, Dave, will AOL do that? I had been using AOL 4.0, largely to keep AOL from hitting me with automatic "updates".... They got me while I wasn't looking the other day, though, and made unknown changes to my system which forced me to switch versions.... (This was actually on Tuesday. I spent three hours trying to find a way to make AOL work before I could even get around to loading Poser 5....) I have noticed that 7.0 regularly crashes itself as an excuse to hit me with an "update" which usually seems to be a disguised advertisement of one sort or another.... I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the info! Sorry. You can have the thread back....
