Hi I've been thinking of getting the 'tack' for my dragon but... does anyone know if you can used the reins(sp?) without the bit? It just strikes me as odd that given a creature which can 'spit/ throw' fire or other elements from it's mouth you'd put a bit in its mouth in the way of such damaging emissions? I don't think even if you could get it in it's mouth in the first place without yourself getting damaged the article would last long. just my opinion Dave

Dave,

Yes, there is a separate material specifically for the bit. You can set the transparency to max (along with setting the highlight color to solid black) and it will not show in your render. Had we not included it [the bit], there would be those who wanted one and when it did not exist... would complain that we should have thought to include one. So, we decided to include it and allow the user to decide if they wanted to use/see it. In the world of fantasy, not all 'Dragons' expel fire/ice/acid/etc... (or so I've been told) ;).
